Employment Job Boards for Trail & Outdoor Career Paths

Trails ARE a trade! As demand for trails, and better designed and maintained trails grows, the trail-building profession needs more professionals to meet these growing demands. Are you looking for a career in trails in Maine and beyond? There are plenty of opportunities in Maine to learn what is involved in building and maintaining trails. You can bee a super-beginner and work your way up advancing your skills and making connections along the way. Heck, dream big and become an entrepreneur even and start a business of your own.

Working to support trails whether it is in the field or in the office does require some first-hand experience to gain an understanding of the multi-faceted, often technical skillset and competencies required. Many of those working in the trails trade got into this work because they feel connected to trails and outdoor spaces, and want to make a difference (and hopefully get to be outside a bit while they are at it).

Below you will find trail and outdoor employment job boards that we recommend. If you have any suggestions or additions to this page, please email us.
